The upcoming BorneoCraft Global Expo 2024 (BCG2024) will see the vibrant confluence of international and local artisans.
This year’s event will feature participants from Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Iran, Uzbekistan, and more sharing the Expo grounds with Malaysian counterparts.
As such, artisans and craftpreneurs from Sarawak are invited to take part in this exceptional opportunity to elevate their craftsmanship and business network.
“BCG2024 is designed not only to showcase exquisite craft products but also to foster a supportive environment that encourages skill sharing and collaboration through a series of workshops and masterclasses, ” said organiser, Sarawak Craft Council manager Suriya Charles.
“Attendees will gain valuable insights into various craftsmanship techniques while honing their skills alongside skilled artisans from around the globe.”
The expo will also conduct a dedicated workshop to provide practical guidance on craft marketing and branding, equipping participants with the essential tools to effectively showcase their products and appeal to a wider audience.
BCG2024 will serve as a dynamic platform for artisans and entrepreneurs to connect, share ideas, and explore collaborative ventures that can lead to mutual growth and innovation in the craft sector.
One added feature of BCG2024 is the focus on craft tourism, where craft tourism packages will be showcased, bringing attention to the unique cultural heritage of Sarawak and promoting it as a destination for craft enthusiasts.
