MasterCraft Challenge is an exciting competition for Sarawak’s artisans of all levels, where 10 selected crafters will compete within a 2-hour timeframe to showcase their creativity and skills across various craft categories, vying for the title of MasterCrafter.

Categories
Participants can enter their creations in one or more of the following categories:
Woodworking
From intrivate carvings to functional furniture.
Textiles
Including sewing, embroidery, and quilting.
Basketry
Any forms of weaving or braiding into baskets.
Ceramics
Pottery, sculptures, jewellery and innovative ceramic art.
Mixed Media
Projects that blend different materials and techniques.
Judging Criteria
Creativity & Originality
Unique concepts and innovative approaches.
Craftsmanship
Attention to detail, skill, and quality of work.
Functionality
Practical use and functionality of the crafted item.
Presentation
Overall presentation and visual appeal.
